Is there a chance he and Capel agree for him to come back and play, instead of transferring?

Always a chance, but very unlikely...and i'm sure only a few people know the true reason for his transferring...

If Jeff pushed him out there is absolutely no chance...

If Ray requested, there is a possiblity (If in the closing interview Jeff left the door open for him)...

Come back and do what? He has no productivity in his game. He's not a great defender, he's not a great scorer, he's not a great rebounder, he's not a high character guy, he's not a team leader, what is he going to provide?

he can be a body, who might be able to contribute. As far as I know we don't have a great scorer, rebounder, etc.

A body for practice and some depth at guard. Frankly, we could use both.

Let me put it this way. As limited as we are, he probably will end up getting beat out by Tyler Neal down the stretch. Ray is a meathead that doesn't take anything serious. He may potentially be a very good player if something clicks for him and he decides he has to work to get better.

Two wrongs don't make a right. OU was wrong to offer him out of high school. Would be wrong to let him stay. Not a Big 12 caliber player now or ever in my opinion. Good riddance.

Nothing like good old player bashing from dirtymess. I'm sure you two are close, personal friends and have formed your opinion on several heart-to-heart chats you've had with Ray over the years.

Crap like this ought to cease.

I didn't see what DM said as a bashing, more of an honest assessment of the player and how he does/soesn't fit in.

I lost all patience with Willis during the season when I saw his pouting act in person at a game. He was obviously letting his frustration with not playing show, and it was effecting other players, some trying to calm him, and others arguing with him. He exemplified what was wrong this past season, and if he wants to move on, then good bye. I wish the kid no ill will, but his act wore me out after just one viewing.

He also screwed around in pre-game drills and tried to knock other players shots out of the air with his ball. He was a goofball.

:eek::eek:

Forgot about that..... The kid probably will wake up soon and realize how serious this opportunity is to him. Hopefully a new environment, hopefully with more mature teammates, will help him turn the corner towards becoming a better student/athlete/adult. Again, no ill will towards him, but he just didn't take his opportunity serious enough, IMO.

Shows our lack of leadership within the players last yr. I do not believe that Hollis/Quannas/Taylor/etc would have put up with his childish antics for very long.

NO!!!!

He isn't a player and has had issues off the court. That's a formula for some other team for a change.

Someone is obsessed with walk-ons. They aren't a big deal anymore, get that out of your head. We have 2 walk-ons right now and it's not like we're going to get anymore.

dude im saying that they are used for "bodies" in practice not scholarship players im tired of hearing about walk-ons in this messageboard
