Can you guys explain some Trump things to me?

Because it’s true. Millions of dollars of property damage, small businesses ruined, peoples lives ruined, a man is murdered in the first degree. All of it could’ve been stopped months ago, yet the democrat leaders let it continue to burn on purpose. The dem mayors and governor had no answer to stop it and refused to accept help because they hate trump. Who’s playing politics?

You are a liar and a fool. Do you honestly believe the BS you’re typing?[/QUOTE]

It is beyond scary.

Says the person who can't contribute to any discussions without incoherent ramblings.

How is it disingenuous to show you proof of what I've been saying & ya'll just keep making excuses? Ya'll just get bent out of shape when someone shows you something true you don't want to believe and result in throwing fits.

Again, disingenuous. Trump talks about the violent riots and destruction every night in Portland and you think because it’s not completely destroyed, that he’s a liar.

What a fool you are. A disingenuous fool.

I quoted exactly what he said & it was a lie.

Again you get angry and throw a fit. How was it disingenuous to show his quote and state how it was a lie?

If it doesn't have to be "played" against them then why lie?

Exaggeration does not equate to lying just like saying a certain politician wants to place a certain group in chains. It was neither a lie nor was it the truth. Everything in life is not to be placed in discrete terms. It is called BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it is what troublemakers do as opposed to those who care about solving things that could actually mean a damn.

It's a lie because if it were true then the whole city of Portland wouldn't exist right now. Does that clear it up for your dumb*ss?

You are replying like my 10 year old does. We have had this discussion...figures of speech are not meant to be taken literally.
Saying a whole town is on fire is a figure of speech and is not to be taken literally. It isn't a lie. If it was, figures of speech would be sinful.

You said the president called the virus a hoax.

So if I had a small kitchen fire and a roll of paper towels caught fire, but I put it out. I tell my wife that the whole house was ablaze and is still burning. That's not a lie?

This is the expectation and current state of the presidency...nice

Trump, about Easter (April 12): “Wouldn’t it be great to have all the churches full? You’ll have packed churches all over our country … I think it’ll be a beautiful time.”

Trump, about the virus, April 13: "It's so easily transmissible, you wouldn't even believe it."

Just a reminder of what we’re voting for:

wow man...you need to retake some basic english classes. You must have been sick for the figure of speech lessons

If there is a fire to many buildings in a small town and someone says "Main street is on fire!" are they lying? I mean the street is not one fire

Well for starters, trump made that comment in midlate march. A lot changed in those 3 weeks...Fauci himself changed his stance drastically on many things in that same time frame

and I remember exactly when he said this and again, surprise surprise, it was taken out of context. I remember hearing it in context and I just knew that this would be twisted and taken out of context...and it was.

I would love to have it open by Easter,” Trump said.

“I would love to have that. It’s such an important day for other reasons, but I’d love to make it an important day for this. I would love to have the country opened up, and rarin’ to go by Easter.”

“Wouldn’t it be great to have all the churches full?” Trump asked. “You’ll have packed churches all over our country … I think it’ll be a beautiful time.”

Trump added that “I’m not sure that’s going to be the day,” but “that would be a beautiful thing.”

“Our decision will be based on hard facts and data as to the opening” of the economy, Trump said in that presser. “Every decision is grounded solely in the health, safety and wellbeing of our citizens.”

Here is a suggestion BC...actually ready the quotes in context instead of headlines.

This is a great example and I'm glad you brought it up. I too wanted churches back full for easter. But just because I wanted it doesn't mean it was going to happen or that I thought it would happen. He even qualified it by saying I am not sure that it will happen but it would be great.

You're being ridiculously obtuse. Trump knew the virus was highly contagious but a day later he was saying he wanted to see churches full by Easter. It was an example of him downplaying the virus in public even though we now know he was fully aware of how deadly it was in private.

If you're going to comment about basic English then you might try harder on sentence structure. The Oxford handbook even says it's a lie.

"The entire city is ablaze all the time". Those are two lies that weren't close to the truth. And we are just stuck on this one phrase, not the 20,000 other ones.

I'm confused by your timeline. What happened on April 11th?
