This could be a game where Manyang gets some more minutes to match up with ORU's bruiser down low 6'9 265 Albert Owens, he might be a little too physical for McNeace and Lattin

I haven't seen ORU play this year, but I doubt if Owens will scare anyone on OU's team. Lattin and our back up players did a good job of defending Villanova's 6' 11" 245 senior center, Daniel Ochefu, who is an imposing figure in his own right.

Having said that, though, I hope you're right about Manyang getting more playing time. Increasing his minutes will give him the experience he needs, as well as improve his conditioning.

I agree Ada, and I hope Owens gives our bigs a test. We have 5 games to get Manyang in shape before B12 play so I hope he gets some extended minutes.

No matchup issues at center. It does seem like Lattin and Manyang are separating from McNeace a little bit.

Agreed. Lattin and Manyang had 6 blocks between them (AK had 4).

AK has a huge upside. If he can correct a few of his weaknesses and improves his conditioning, he could move into the starting lineup at some point.

One thing he does is make himself small on defense by staying in a crouched position like he's trying to sneak up on someone. He also makes himself small inside by holding the ball low enough for smaller players to knock it out of his hands.
