Is it kinda odd that Noland was selected and not bijan? I’m happy for him but I’m a bit surprised
Noland’s numbers are a lot better than Cortes numbers.
Not really.
About the same minutes. Noland averaged a bucket (2 points) more per game. They shot it about the same from 2. Cortes was noticeably better from the FT line and from 3. Cortes averaged more assists/game, and also more turnovers/game.
I'd say their net contributions were about equal.
cortes took 7 3's all season CJ took 34 (more then 1 a game)
cortes made 1 more ff on the season 9-10 CJ 8-10
Means nothing. How many shots they took is already "picked up" in the points per game average. Shooting more shots at a lower percentage doesn't make somebody a better player in and of itself.
So for all those extra shots, Noland averaged less than 2 full points per game.
Cool.
Cortes averaged nearly 1 full assist per game more. So if we're looking at points scored and points assisted, they were dang near even per game, with Cortes shooting less.
According to WTS, he's likely gone anyway. If that's the case, making the All Freshman Team only means bragging rights for his next team.
i don't think he is going to leave
Pretty sad stats too make all freshmen team. Guys averaging 4 points another one 1.4 points. Are you kidding me?
