If you are suspended from a team, even though you are not fully kicked off, do you still practice with the team?

Just saw an article in Newsok that said his status has not changed but he is practicing with the team. If whatever happened is as bad as what the media (traber) and some other have implied if he plays there next game (which newsok says is a possibility) it makes it look like you are bringing him back because you lost a game.

OSU and Ford are saying they are giving him time to take care of personal matters or whatever. If you are susp, It would be up to the coach whether you practice or not.

Didn't Jelon miss the 1st game of the year bc of a susp? He practiced...

The real issue is, is he going to class? If not, this turns into academic issues fairly quickly.

Yes, but his was a one game suspension. I hope whatever it was Clark works it out and gets back on the team, not OSU fan, but if not a criminal issue then he should get back on the team. Again I don't know what he did, but people in the know seem to act like its really bad.

I don't think it would have been a 4 game suspension if it didn't happen during the Florida trip. They played those 4 games in a short amount of time. Also, part of the punishment was not being able partake in the off the court fun in Florida. Outside of rumors I don't know for sure what he did, but I hope Ford is putting the fear of God in him. I want any issues nipped in the bud while he's still young.

What are the rumors?

Smoking weed in his hotel room. Heard this from 2 people who have access to more knowledge than me.

I'm sure OSU didn't like having to dish out the FINE that came with smoking in the hotel room. For really nice hotels...the fine for any room being smoked in can be $300 or more.

I would imagine Stevie had to pay it. Might even be a violation to pay it for him.

I doubt Clark payed any fine. The room wasn't rented to him, it was rented to OSU Athletics.

Is this a concern? Wasn't Stevie Clark a 4.0 student in high school? I wouldn't think he would just blow off school having had the maturity to do that well in high school.

4.0 gpa at OKC Douglass is like a 2.2 at most schools!
