"I told him you're like a business company," said his father, Doug Jackson. "All of a sudden your stock is falling. What are you going to do? He said, 'I'm going to work to build it back up.' I told him it's the same with basketball. If you work hard you'll get there."

"Jackson said the father-son talk were things he's told Cameron his entire life since he was a toddler. Work hard. Be a good teammate. Listen to coaches. Be the first one to practice, the last one to leave."

It's hard not to see why Cameron is such a great player and a humble kid when you hear things like this being preached by his father. Glad to see the quotes and chico is gonna be a real, real good one for us.

This quote stood out to me as well, Mercede. It's sound advice youngsters should apply to every walk of life, by substituting parents, teachers, etc. for the word coaches.

Good for Cam's father! :clap His talk worked, too. CC has been a totally different player in the last few games. You can just see his confidence grow with every outing.
