For their fourth place finish in the All-College Classic.

At what point does it become Scott Sutton time in Stoolwater?

Haha. I'm glad we didn't get Guerrero, he whined and moaned the entire game, what a little baby.

It would feel great to sweep them this year. Although, I don't think we will.

I love that with this being their 4th loss that it grows slimmer and slimmer that they'll make the NCAA tournament.

Heard from someone at the game that Cezar Salad threw a towell at an OSU assistant coach at one point in the second half.

He seems like one of those kids who's great to have when his team is winning and everything is going well, but a true headcase and a cancer when adversity hits.

Yeah, I think I saw that, it was right after the hillibilly took him out of the game.

I think Cesar would start for OU, or at worst would would be our first off the bench. Absolutely OSU is struggling, but they are really talented. Cobbins and Nash can be players. I'm still not sold an Ford as a coach. I haven't seen anything from Ford that he can raise talent to a winner.

If he displayed that kind of attitude with Kruger and staff, there's no way he's starting and/or playing for OU right now.

Let's face it, OSU has absolutely no team chemistry or leadership. OU has both, which is directly attributable to the head coaches for each.

OSU reminds me of OU from two years ago....

BTW where are the aggies defending their team?

This OSU team sucking really shouldnt be that big of a surprise. I know a couple of OSU fans on this board hyped them up, but if you look at the roster they really aren't overly talented or experienced.

They have no post scorer. Jurrick is huge but has ZERO offensive game. They aren't that deep. They are relying on freshman or newcomers for major roles like PG, Center and a go-to scorer.

They have a some athletic wing players, and one midget shooter but thats about it.

This was the first entire OSU game I'd seen, I had read posts talking about how bad OSU was, but I thought people were looking at them through crimson glasses and exaggerating. If tonight is a good example, they weren't exaggerating.

I klnow we had a lot of people who wanted #44 and Guerro to come to OU. Is what I saw tonight typical?

Someone near me said #44 was 7'2". Even if he's not, he's big enough that you would think he would produce more than what? Zero? Did he take any shots. Did they run any plays for him?

He could be a good scorer off the bench in a Newell like role but he's not starting.

Like Max Power said, they're shades of 2009-10 Sooners.

Man, I completely agree. I think Kruger could reign in Cesar's attitude though. A player with his talent would play. I have never been sold on Ford. If OSU doesn't make the tournament, he may be fired.

I love what Lon has done. No person can deny that he hasn't changed the identity of the program. I, more than anyone, hope that we make the tournament this year. Based on who we have played, I would expect we wouldn't lose much so far. That being said, it is so refreshing to watch a under-talented team perform higher than their ceiling. I am starting to buy into the team is greater than the individual concept Lon is preaching. Its gonna be fun to watch.

Last year when we were in the pursuit of Guerrero and Jurick I said that I didn't think that Ceasar was the answer at point but understood why we were recruiting him (highest ranked available PG at the time). When hot, the kid can light it up, but his me first attitude and slight build always seemed like too big of a red flag to take a risk on. If our team make up was different, it might not have been such a risk, but I'm glad he didn't end up here at OU.

I still think that Jurick would have been a nice addition. I assume that Krueger wasn't that interested in him because he doesn't look like he would fit well with the up and down style that we are working towards, but his defensive presence would be a welcome addition to this year's team. I have nothing against Arent and he seems to be a hardworking kid, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed when we passed on Jurick and offered Arent. Arent is quicker, but is pretty limited both offensively and defensively at this point. I'm not saying he won't improve or ever contribute, but I didn't feel he could bring much to the team this year whereas Jurick could at least alter shots and be a bit of a bruiser when needed.

Oh well. I trust the coaches' thinking and decisions and look forward to the rest of the season. It's obviously great that we are winning, but either way, I just enjoy watching sooner basketball and rooting for the team.

We will have a good opportunity to sweep OSU. Just have to guard Page curling off those screens and limit Nash and Olukemi.

We didn't pass on Jurick to get Arent. Jurick committed to OSU and then we offered Arent.

Offense is an absolute catastrophe. Defense has ranged from above average to pretty good for every game save the Stanford debacle. Which gives me hope that if they at least turn into an average offensive team, by the end of the year they can win some games. Still optimistic for this season, a lot more than my fellow OSU brethren anyways.

The only thing Ford has proven at OSU is that Sean Sutton left him some solid players in Eaton, Harris, Muonelo, and Anderson. How can Ford only have 2 post players on a roster. He knew Williams was done and that Soucek kid is a one year player that will be added to the list of transfers next year. And he only has one post player committed. The guy still hasn't come to terms that he is not coaching in the minors anymore...he's at a big 12 school that has a ton of teams that have solid post players.
