Courtney and DRob

Courtney Paris is the best player to come thru OU IMHO, but like most post players she's not a really good ft shooter.

I agree, but she was durn good at hitting them when they mattered most at OU. She'd be hitting them at about 50-60% until the game was on the line and they start purposely fouling her. Then she was 95-100%...rarely missed when it mattered most. That's why I'm a little shocked she didn't make them last night versus SAS in the WNBA game.

She had 15 attempts at the line during that Big XII championship game versus Baylor. She made them all at the end of the game when Baylor was trying to stop the clock and get her to the line.

As poor of a free throw shooter as she was, I remember as well, in late game pressure situations Courtney would come through on the line. Especially against Baylor. Something about the Bears just helped Courtney rise to the occasion.
