Cousins ballhandling in traffic

Isaiah had an amazing game! He turned some heads nationally with this performance.

he was very focused. He did not upset with some bad calls ( walking) Also, played nice defense and quick to long rebounds.

19 pts., 10 assists. Fantastic game!

and 6 rebounds. Very nice.

I noticed in their press break, they had Spangler cross court who was making the pass to get it over half court. Tough to guard when your center is involved in the press break. Kind of Blake-esque.

Hell I remember him as a freshman at Texas Tech and he couldn't even get it past half court. Amazing development and work by this young man.

They broke the press with grace. Cousins has a cooler head than I thought he had.

The 10 assists show how far he has come as a PG. The one to Odomes as he drove the baseline was the show stopper.

Cousins has developed into a great college player. I'll be the first to admit that I had doubts about Lon's decision to move him to the point. But, of course, it quickly became obvious (to myself; it was already obvious to everyone else) that Kruger has forgotten more about basketball than I'll ever know.

If he keeps this up, he's going to get looks in the first round. Well, if he can fix his FT shooting. How the hell is this young man a terrible free throw shooter? Guy has one of the sweetest 3 point strokes in sooner history, and he can't make a damn free throw. That's something you can't have out of your PG.

He is showing that he has surprisingly good point guard skills. I was a bit skeptical, but it feels like moving Cousins to PG is helping both him and Woodard.

One of the best work ethics in Sooner history is paying off.
