Personally, I think voting should be mandatory and election day should be a national holiday.
LOL if you really believe there were only 4 counts of voter fraud.
Maybe that is the official number. but LOL
Yes just LOL at every fact you don't like but don't have evidence to refute. Voter fraud is a made-up non-issue.
What do you base your objection on?
Why do you think voter fraud is rampant?
Yes it should be. We should have voting apps on our phones. If I can bank securely on my iPhone I can vote securely on my iPhone.
wow
This is why trump pushes back at mail lin voting. it is a slippery slope. I almost made a joke that soon people will want to vote on their phones. Guess I didn't have to.
That is an incredibly stupid idea

Fox News told him.
I think it is much more rampant than liberals like to think.
There are tons of videos out there of people going to a voting place and voting as someone else. Or voting as a dead person. Or people on camera admitting they committed fraud.
To think it doesn't happen is naive.
Why do you think it's stupid? Do you have a banking app? 2 factor authentication should do the trick.
Oregon already does all its elections by mail. They don't have any problems.
Ah yes, "tons of videos."
keep telling yourself that :ez-laugh:
you guys want to make it easier and easier for fraud to happen.
I want to make it harder for fraud to happen.

You want to make it harder for people to vote. I want to remove the obstacles that keep people from voting.
So you want to require everyone to have a phone to vote? Seems like a little more pricey than requiring everyone to have an ID now doesn't it?
I do think people should have to put in effort and prove who they are to vote. It shows that they care enough to put in the effort to vote. That they care enough to do the research needed to vote. And I do think people should have to prove they are who they say they are. Is that really a terrible idea?
Meanwhile, you want to make every person vote. SO you want idiots that have no idea what is going on to go make a decision for this country? And let them just login on a phone and do it? Yeah, that will work out great.:ez-laugh:
Last I checked, the US takes pride in doing things different. I mean it used to be a sign of patriotism that the US set it self apart. Now it is frowned upon.Absolutely election day should be a national holiday. Mitch McConnell said something to the effect of, "yea, that's what Americans need, is another reason not to go to work" when asked about making election day a national holiday.
Shouldn't be mandatory though.
The electoral college really hurts our voter participation. People that live in solid red/blue states literally don't vote because they feel like they don't have to. Democrats in Oklahoma feel like there is no point, there vote doesn't count. Republicans in Oklahoma feel like they don't need to go vote, because other Republicans will carry the state.
In pretty much every way, the Electoral College is anti-democratic. It drastically reduces voter turnout as well.
If we lived in a country that actually gave a damn about legitimate democracy, you would have:
- No electoral college
- Voting day is a national holiday and a day of celebration of our freedom
- Proportional Representation in government, instead of winner take all systems
- More political parties that represent the true demographics of the nation
That's the cure. Not that complicated. The following free countries do it:
Canada - Japan - Germany - Sweden - Australia - Denmark - Austria - Spain - Italy - UK - Hong Kong - Israel - New Zealand - Netherlands - Norway - Poland - Switzerland - Taiwan - Etc. About 100 countries in total. Otherwise known as "the free world".
The countries that do what we do....
Burma - Burundi - Estonia - India - Madagascar - Nepal - Pakistan - Trinidad and Tobago - Vanuatu
It's unbelievable that we are in the latter list of countries. We aren't on the same list as "the free world", lol. We are on some other list of random countries that typically aren't associated with political genius.
The fact that we are on the latter list is frankly embarrassing.

Wow it's really dumb to misconstrue my words like that. I am just saying it should be an available option, along with voting in person, early voting and absentee voting.
Just giving you your own medicine bud. Sucks doesn't it
