Police do not just get to be the aggressors, it has to be warranted and within reason. Both those cases the cops obviously took it way to far & the victim did not warrant such violence.

No one has the right to resist arrest..... whether wrongful arrest or not (you'd fix that afterwards if wrongful)

Knee to the neck for 9 minutes while he was already subdued. You can't argue anything else based on the video to justify those actions

gonna be interesting how that one plays out. Im guessing the lowest charge for Chauvin and everyone else walks imo

I never tried to.

But I honestly do not think it had anything to do with his death.
He was acting the same way before the knee. He was talking normally during the knee. If the cops would have left him lying on the ground not touching him, I believe he still would have died.

Good lord, this video.... They have arrested the teenager with the gun, but unfortunately people ended up dead. 2, I think.. I am confused by the content though.

This is the guy with the gun... Is he on the opposite side of the protesters? It seems to be the protesters who are chasing this guy, and he shoots them. He doesn't appear to be against the police.

What about on repeat offenses? What if they don't pay for the ticket?

It only leads to jail after multiple offenses and if you resist arrest. I'd imagine, on the first offense, you are given a warning or ticket.

we have laws for a reason. If you let little stuff go, you won't like the results. I don't mind arguing that some punishments should be less severe. Especially on first offense. But almost all of these high profile cases, the offender has been repeatedly in trouble with the law.

good gravy dude. Ruin his life? The dude had already been arreste THIRTY times. Obviously light punishments do nothing for him.

1. Those result in warrants, which are subject for arrest.
2. Yeah.
3. So arrest them, don't kill them.
4. Ok. So keep giving him tickets, arrest him for warrants, & the judge will give him harsher penalties. I doubt the judge believes he deserves the death sentence though.

Easy to say when cops keep killing people unjustly.

I'm glad we have a court system to deliver justice and not keyboard warriors. Perhaps more hashtags will change things...

The numbers are not in your favor that this is an issue in the US. Stop believing the media...do your own research. The data is all out there for the taking

Then call the ambulance and let them do their job. Don't make things way worse by kneeing on his neck for 9 minutes.

Its a complicated one for sure. Best video is this one that shows the first shooting.

My initial guess is he walks on all charges as to murder/manslaughter, but gets charged with likely felony charges for being underage for open carry on Wisconsin and possibly something related to him coming across borders

The data is people are getting unjustly killed by the police & the officers are walking.

I like how you're resorting to name calling, bringing up hashtags, & talking about the media which I've never referenced. Run out of arguments?

Sounds like they were found by juries to not be unjust.

99.999% of cops dont wake up and think i cant wait to shoot a black guy today.. its just not a thing. Back in the days with widespread racism, sure. A lot more back then

I agree and they did call for EMS. But it comes back to his actions. He had been lying to them the whole time and knew he was on drugs (or had a strong suspicion). Why start believing him at that point?

So the guy running with the gun shot somebody or was he shot? Or both?

If I had to make a guess....nevermind

Ok so if you don't believe him then why get him out of the vehicle & knee on his neck for 9 minutes? Just wait for the ambulance.

A 17 year-old kid running around with an AR-15 during these protests shot and killed two people allegedly. He's been charged with 1st degree murder.

I never called you names...calm down.

I have plenty of arguments. But tired of repeating them. Let me know when you actually watch the entire arrest video of GF.

People will always be killed by people in authority...especially law enforcement. Sometimes innocent people are killed. It sucks but it will happen. My opinion is that it does not happen at an alarming rate

b/c they were tired of his ****. Again, watch the video. It is quite obvious that you haven't
