He can either play in the NBA or he can't. He looks ready to give it a try. If not ample compensation awaits elsewhere. Leading the Big XII in scoring is quite a feather in your cap.

could still have both. Hopefully one, if not both, of Odomes and James show they can play as a freshman, I think both are real talents. Then you have a junior Booker, either Manyang or Lattin at post, & Walker as your bench, even if Buddy leaves and Buford starts.

Will be nice to have some depth

I've been to a few practices, and while a majority of the team is watching film, Buford and Jamuni work with Crutchfield in a bunch of different drills. I think this, in addition to going up against Thomas and Spanger along with the guards for Buford will make them great assets to the team next season.
It seems like no one is very excited about McNease, but I really think he has a chance to big a big time player next year, even if that is coming off the bench.

Do we have anyone who has an offensive game close to Thomas? I don't see it from Lattin yet but that's not been his role yet.
