Dante Buford?

I've been to a few practices, and while a majority of the team is watching film, Buford and Jamuni work with Crutchfield in a bunch of different drills. I think this, in addition to going up against Thomas and Spanger along with the guards for Buford will make them great assets to the team next season.
It seems like no one is very excited about McNease, but I really think he has a chance to big a big time player next year, even if that is coming off the bench.

I'm not among those who haven't been excited about McNeace. I don't expect him to start next season, but I have a feeling he will be ready to make a meaningful contribution by the start of conference play.

Buford is a different story. I think he would have pushed for starter-like minutes if he had been eligible to play this season. He's going to be a great addition to the team next year.

Do we have anyone who has an offensive game close to Thomas? I don't see it from Lattin yet but that's not been his role yet.

Not big wise. Buford will score and guards and spangler will increase.

I agree.

If, or perhaps when, Buddy goes pro this season, we will have a lot of offense to replace.

Really think our defense could improve next season, though. If MANyang comes through, we would have the potential for a truly elite defense imo.

We had a lot of scoring to replace last season, and that worked out way better than expected.
Also I could see Lattin making a huge jump offensively. Nobody really thought Cousins was going to become a the scorer he is.
With Lon and his staff, I have no doubt that guys will develop in ways we can't even imagine.
