Given the inexperience and seeming patchwork nature of next year's team, I'm more interested in Capel and staff's ability to coach them into a good defensive team than offensive. I've been happy with his offense the last years, but not his defense.

but according to someone, good offense leads to good defense.

If you have good defense that will lead to a lot of easy offense.

Maybe I'm missing the boat here but for the life of me I can't understand why anyone wouldn't WANT to play defense. For one, this is where a lot of your breakaway RIM ROCKERS!! come into play. What better way to stick it to your opponent than to steal the ball (like he's a chump), casually dribble down, and throw it down! When you're not chumping your opponent with steals, you're shutting him down as if he has NOTHING on you. How would this not be appealing for ANYONE? Did last years team just not know how or was it more of a lack of effort (which I just don't get)?

I mean, I guess if guys like facials at THEIR expense then maybe basketball isn't their sport. Know what I mean????? :facepalm
