I saw Harmon post on Instagram a few days ago that he got a pre-tournament haircut (and wasn't wearing a mask) and instantly thought of Chiefs O-Linemen who were sidelined from the Super Bowl because they were exposed to Covid from their barbers and how Embiid and Simmons couldn't play in the All-Star game for the same reason, and I instantly feared this exact worst case scenario.
This is a devastating loss for a team who needs all hands on deck.
I feel bad for him because he’s a good player and this is the second consecutive tournament he’s missing due to COVID, but I’m sure carelessness played a role in his acquisition of the virus.
Thanks doc. Because as we all have learned over the past year, only careless people get Covid. It’s not even remotely possible he got it by being exposed to Jalen Wilson during the KU game or some other way that doesn’t involve carelessness.

I’m so sick of people blaming COVID on the patient. Soonerbms, your comment is asinine. There are so many people out there in grief and depression because they think they contributed to their loved ones death because people like you have called them careless for contracting a highly contagious viral illness.
Take a step off medical degree, please, and show some humanity. I’m a doctor too, so I can comment your on a colleague’s foolishness.
There sure are a lot of doctors on this board.
