No need to preemptively turn on the guy. All we know is he's in the portal and he's doing zoom meetings with a few teams, including OU. That's it. If he (or a friend or a family member) should read this board, we're not giving him much reason to stick around (especially if they're also reading the boards of the teams that would love to have him).
If he leaves and goes to a Big 12 team, I'll be mad too and I certainly won't cheer for him -- but there's no need to trash him in advance of that happening. I just think we're getting stirred up when we don't have nearly all the information about where things stand now -- much less where they're stand in a week or a month.
I'd take him back with open arms, because a) I enjoyed watching him play and b) he has seemed a decent young man during his time at OU and c) he's a huge key (unless Coach Moser has a number of transfers in the works that we don't know about) to us being even a decent team next year. I am decidedly not up for a three-year rebuild. I want to enjoy OU hoops next season and every year after that for the foreseeable future.
