Absolutely. I hope Moser does that. This all makes me totally lose respect for him. Absurd.

OU doesn't need to beg anybody, much less a guy currently on their team, jeez. He ain't that good, not that that even matters.
 
Him going to Texas would be even worse than Kansas. I’d drive 3 hours up to Norman for that game just to boo for 2 hours straight.

While I agree with Moser not BEGGING him to stay, I think he should make a strong attempt to keep him. As long as it's not interfering with recruiting other similar or better recruits (why would it?), I don't see the harm. Harmon is in the top quartile of players we can recruit to OU.

yes, but to have a "zoom" like the other schools. Crap, just go sit in his office, listen to coach. Either you're in or not. Now, since the bluebloods are calling I'm sure it's more of a "fresh bf/gf relationship thing".

Curious how he gets playing time on some of those bbloods...vs prob being a starter at OU. Only time will tell.

* I'll add, it's like a bidding war. If any coach offers more than a "chance to compete for a starting role" they are full of crap...he's got the best chance to be a starter at OU.

Almost every team on his list is going to offer more than the starting job. The ncaa doesn’t care if you pay players anymore, so why not?
 
Perhaps he's not in Norman now -- hence the zoom calls (or maybe he's being extra careful about Covid, since he's out on a limb without a basketball home right now).

i'm not trying to make excuses for him -- just trying to figure out where his head is at (and probably not doing a very good job of it).

If BT offered a Zoom, I think we'd jump at the opportunity. I don't see why pride should get between us making a pitch to a player that would make our team better. If Moser doesn't have the humility to do zoom calls, then I don't expect he'll have much success here. This isn't OU football.

Gonzaga is the only program on this list where playing time would presumably be harder to come by. UK was a train wreck, Indiana isn’t close to OU’s level the past few years, and the other schools on the list are neck and neck with the Sooners. He would likely start at all those places.
