Did Spangler win every jump ball in the tourney?

Guy just has an incredible knack for it. Great anticipation and quick up.

We were talking about it before the opening tip. He has done it a lot this year. He quick jumps it.

Ryan won nearly every jump ball this season. Last year you could have counted the number he won on one hand.

I think sunny got it right. He either quick-jumped the tip and it wasn't called, or he simply did a good job of timing his jump. He was so much better at it, one has to believe he worked on it before the season began.

If you remember, in the Oregon game, he jumped too soon because he anticipates the ref throwing the ball and basically beats the other player to the tip. I can't think of a game I watched which we didn't get the opening tip and he jumped against guys much taller and better jumpers than he was.

Yep. He was rarely the most athletic big man on the court, but he's smart and works incredibly hard. We are going to miss him for a multitude of reasons.
