Do we make the NCAA tourney?

We are currently 15-11 overall and 6-7 in the Big 12. We have the following games left:

Texas at OU
KU at OU
OU at BU
OU at TCU

My best guess is, we go 2-2 the rest of the way. That would give us a 17-13 and 8-9. If we win one game and lose one game in the conference tourney, that would put us at 18-14 and 9-10.

Does that get us in the NCAA tourney?

You're right, I forgot to add TT at OU which is the last game of the regular season. That gives us the following remaining games:

Texas at OU
KU at OU
OU at BU
OU at TCU
TT at OU

So, if we go 3-2, that would give us 18-13 and 9-9 prior to the Big 12. If we win one game and lose one game in the conference tourney, that would put us at 19-14 and 10-10.

Does that get us in the NCAA tourney?

Since we have lost 4 out of our last 6 games, I'm sure our confidence level is about as low as it can go. Back to back wins would do this team a world of good.

They'll be lucky to win 2 and right now, I don't think they can even do that.

Thanks 81. I'd probably say the same thing about you, but since you only have 15 posts, I guess the verdict is out on you and your knowledge of anything.

Hope you keep posting. It's been interesting to see a lot of folks on this board start changing their positions and opinions over the last couple of years. I figure you might be one.

Honestly I think the best thing that could happen is if we go the WNIT. We'd have a great chance to win it and instill some winning confidence in our younger players.

We have the ability to win at least 3 of the next 4 games and we have the ability to win the Big 12 tournament though so who knows.
