NORMAN, Okla. -- University of Oklahoma head men's basketball coach Lon Kruger has announced that his team's practices in advance of its August exhibition tour to Belgium and France will be open to the public.
Starting Sunday, July 21, the Sooners will hold 10 practices prior to leaving for Europe on Aug. 6. Practices (schedule below) will be held in the OU men's practice gym on the southeast corner of Lloyd Noble Center. Fans should enter via the south ramp and take a right once inside.
The Sooners will play five contests in Belgium and France, the majority of them against teams from Europe's top two professional divisions. OU will return to Oklahoma on Aug. 16.
OU will play its first three games (Aug. 8-10) in Belgium before traveling to France where it will play two more contests (Aug. 14-15).
OU will also be afforded several sightseeing opportunities during the trip, including a tour of Normandy, site of the World War II D-Day invasions of 1944.
