Espn Bubble Watch

I think we've been a lock for awhile. Thanks ESPN for not liking us!

A win Saturday puts in the 'playing for a better seed' category. Until then, I don't think we can be considered a lock.

But I'm no pessimist, I think we'll win out and be a 5 or 6.

we can lose 4 in a row .. and we still get in the dance ... that is a lock

We could lose out and get in, but I think that we'd be on the bubble. OK non-conference, 9-9 in a really good conference, bad loss in conference tournament, and cold down the stretch doesn't sound like a lock to me.

CBSports.com moved us up to a 5 seed in today's bracket.

It's been a lock for a couple weeks.

I think we were a lock when we got to 9 wins in the conference. Alot of the more notable (publicized) guys like Lunardi are pretty conservative, for the most part, when it comes to "locking" a team. That don't want to look bad by having to take a team out of lock status....it's sort of a rivalry thing between bracketologists. We've been a lock for a week, it's just now being validated on the more high traffic sites.

My question is WHY does everyone around here keep assuming that OSU is going to make the tourney? IF and a big if they win out they will be 8-10. And I believe they will lose Saturday vs. KU and AT I-State. JMO.

I'm with you. If we somehow lost our last four games of the season and were 20-12 (with a 5-game losing streak), I know I'll be sweating it out on Selection Sunday. Of course, I believe we'll have at least 23 wins by then which should put us in the #6 seed area.
