ESPN: Fourteen Coaches Make at Least $3 Million

I guess I took for granted that you'd understand that concept of my post. Sure, lots of people would take the job in that situation. I would myself. Then again, I've never coached basketball and would probably go 0-30. I'll clarify ... no coach who is truly worthy of a job at a BCS school would consider it.

Your definition of worthy seems to be someone that has had a high profile job and failed.

I would personally go with someone younger.

I can assure you plenty of very good coaches would take a BCS job that paid based on performance.

Billy Tubbs was not particularly well known when he came to the Big 8. Neither was Sampson but Sampson was more well known

Is Henson at UTSA qualified? I bet he would do it. Base may need to be a bit more but I would make it pretty easy to make a million bucks. People laughed
at Henry Ford. IBM rejected the PC.
