Final 4 and NC Game Thread

Tough way to lose, but that was absolutely a foul, and absolutely had to be called.

Refs blew it a little earlier though. Right before that 5th foul, the UVA player dribbled the ball off his own foot, picked it up, and dribbled it again. That is double dribble, and it wasn't called.

Feel bad for Auburn. They've been playing great ball the past few weeks.

I don't hate UVA though. They've chocked enough over the years in the Dance. Wouldn't mind seeing them finally win one.

Wonderful game.......sucks that the ref missed the double dribble.

Most teams have to have some really lucky breaks to win the title.

That’s not the way a well played, hard fought final four game should end! A missed double dribble by Virginia followed by a foul on a three point shooter.

No question the foul was a good call. I have no idea how the officials missed the dribbling violation, unless they thought the ball went off of an Auburn player’s foot? I doubt if we see any member of that crew in next week’s final.

Could Pearl have pointed out the dd before the inbounds play for a review?

I would guess that since it wasn't called, the coach can't point it out????

No idea why I am hearing talking heads say the foul was controversial. No way you can let that go. Also no doubt the DD was missed and was an easy call. Can only guess the ref thought Auburn touched it but, if so, he obviously wasn’t really looking at the play.

I wish you didn't feel the need to insult our team while complimenting Tech. There are only two teams in the country who are even in the same stratosphere as Tech on defense, so it's not like we are alone. And contrary to popular belief, we were a far above average defensive team this year.

Anyhow, how about that mediocre Big 12?!?

Didn't know I couldn't make an observation here without someone taking offense.......I didn't insult OU......just saying they didn't have the athletes this year to play that kind of D.

As for OU being a far above average defensive team this year.....??

And I thought the Big 12 was just average this year.....Tech was the best team this year and are playing their best ball right now.

And I hope that Owens can play Monday night.....Tech will probably have to have him to win.
