Smart's fourth with so much time left was huge. I'm sure that had something to do with your "didn't play smart" remark. He's too valuable to sit for nearly ten minutes when his team is short handed.

I also think Travis waited too long to bring him back in the game. Even players like Marcus need a little time to get back in the flow after sitting that long.
 
Agreed, Smart can't do crap like that - hope he does when we play them.

Picked to win the Big 12 in football, and they lose their first conference game to a WVU team that finished the season 4-8.

Picked to finish first in the Big 12 in basketball (with KU), and they lose their first conference game to a KSU team that was picked to finish 5/6.

I cannot stand watching Smart play. For such a "good" player, he whine and makes so many dumb plays it is ridiculous. Did you see him tell the ref he got hit on the elbow on the final shot of the game? LMAO. Nobody was even close to touching him anywhere. Such an excuse making little baby. Nash taking bad shots. Even Forte took a terrible shot when they were down with about 3 minutes left. Sorry, but that is bad coaching.

I hate meltdowns in general, but they are particurily unpleasant when my own fanbase is doing it. I swear some of those guys would be pissed of if Kate Upton farted during a one night stand.

No doubt!!!!! Funny how all of the poke posters who flood this board when they are predicted to win, do better than us, etc, disappear when things don't go so well.
