I'm not blaming anyone for anything. I don't blame Fitz for being slow and limited athleticly. It isn't his fault. I think he has accomplished quite abit through hard work and determination in spite of his marginal skills.

Winning consistantly or at a high level with players so one deminsional isn't possible. And I have never thought it was.

On any knock that I have every had on the type of players Capel brought in has always been preferenced with "the exception of Osby". Osby never played for Capel. And since Kruger's 1st day Osby has been on board with his coach trying to stamp out that infectious and festering culture of losing spawned in the Capel era.

Again, All Capel did was state that Osby was his best player.

I told you M'Baye wasn't the best player on this team and even though Kruger said he was his best player on this team. He was wrong and so were you.

Osby is Capel's player....don't be in denial. All Capel did was praise Osby and say that his best player was on his bench.

Kruger has stated that M'Baye was his best player...and thats not even close to being true.

Capel has zero to do with the development of Osby. Where was Osby at the beginning of last season to now? Yes Capel got him as a transfer but he never played for the guy.

If you cannot see the difference between Lon Kruger and Jeff Capel you simply don't understand basketball.

You get that John Blake, Gary Gibbs, Howard S. and Jeffrey Fenton Capel are the only guys to be fired as head coaches of either the OU football team or basketball team in 30+ years?

Next year, if we don't make the tournament...you can blame it all on Clark and Neal. Just have your blame stick pointed at them. It doesn't matter that its Capel's player that is 1st team all conference. It will be better when Osby is gone.

And other Capel player that is 3rd team All-Conference.

The way he played today that's 5 more then he deserved.

We have one sr that ill miss osby , the rest are average players who are anything but consistent and play like freshman when teams make runs.

Osby is the only veteran who shows any leadership what so ever, I would have played Buddy more the second half over some other veterans who should have had their minutes cut too today.

I just returned home from the morning session and it was very apparent Fitz played way too much. I love the guy and he tries really hard, but he's not athletic enough to play with the Will Clyburn's and Melvin Ejim's on ISU.

You may not have been able to see it on TV, but it was very apparent at the games.

Osby never played for Capel. He was not much different than Grooms or Arent. He did have to spend a year with that jack@$$ as his coach but he never had to play for the pathetic excuse of a Jay Z fan (I don't even want to call him a coach because he darn sure didn't coach anyone at OU).

I'll also add that Osby wasn't a Capel recruit. Rod Barnes was the one who brought Ro to OU. Barnes recruited Osby when he was the coach at Ol' Miss. He contacted Barnes when he wanted to transfer from MSU, and the rest is history. Capel was the head coach at the time, but he was not the one who convinced Romero to make OU his new home.

Fitz came in with around 7 minutes to go and a 10-12 point lead and then the following happened:

1-The man he was defending hit a 3 (Niang)
2-Fitz missed a forced shot.
3-Fitz committed a foul on the defensive end. ISU hits free throws.
4-Fitz gets called for moving screen.

Lead down to 5-7 ISU with ball & hits a 3.

I agree, since Capel was the head coach, it's a stretch to say Osby was not a Capel recruit. It's not a stretch to suggest that Barnes was the reason Romero came to OU. The relationship that brought him to Norman when he decided to transfer was already in place before Barnes was hired as an assistant. Rod tried to get him to come to OU out of high school, but Osby chose MSU. I was sick when he signed with MSU. He's a player I really wanted back then.

Outside of our 1 win against KU, OSU and ISU...what is our best win after that?

How many times did Capel beat KU? How many times did he beat Texas?
