For the 2011 class what type of recruit do you want?

I think many people would pick Rakeem Christmas if given a specific player for the 2011 class but what about a position for the current one open ship?

Now I know the one ship thing could very well change in the next year but right now given what we know that is what we have.

Here is what the projected roster for 2011-12 will look like.

Guards
Junior Carl Blair
Junior Steven Pledger
Sophomore T.J. Taylor
Sophomore Calvin Newell

Wings
Sophomore Cameron Clark
Sophomore Tyler Neal (I think he could be a redshirt freshman as well)
Junior Romero Osby (will play the 4 some as well)

So what would if add to the roster?

A Juco big man to provide depth?

A young high school/prep point guard?

Since there will only be 1 or 2 ships, I think this is a situation where you can be a little picky. If they had 4 ships I'd say you sign Richardson and Goff, but since they may have one, you need to find someone that's going to be a day one difference maker.

Christmas needs to come in July as far as I am concerned. A guy that can come in from day one and upgrade the post AND keep the OU to the NBA tradition going. I know that some think that is stupid, but it matters in attracting high level kids that can make an instant contribution.

Honestly, I just hope we will have the scholarship to give out. The NCAA likes to take those away from teams that mess up while on probation
