It has been discussed before, but lots of talent floating around college basketball that ran through Norman at one time.

I even saw Jordan Shepard playing at Cal the other night - had forgotten about him and it got me thinking....

Pretty salty team with Shepard, Harmon, Williams, Kuath, Manek, Victor I, McGusty.....and there could be others I am not thinking about.

Not saying they would / should all be in Norman, but there was some talent around the program the last couple of years and if you had this many upper classmen then you are looking at Tech or Texas kind of roster age and experience-wise.

just a note but if mcgusty stayed in norman he would already be done with college ..

You forgot one thing. If these players had stayed in Norman, they would have been coached by the same assistant staff I complained about for the last three to four years. Lon was a great coach and he couldn’t be everything to everyone 24-7. But the staff he put together after our FF run was sorely lacking in the player development department.
