OU only averaged 69.1 points per game last season. Kruger wants to play faster, and that requires backcourt depth.

I think a lot of people don't realize how quick we played at times last year, b/c it wasn't the result of a bunch of fast breaking on offense. That said, Ken Pom has us having the quickest pace in the Big 12 last year. That is based on average "possessions" per game. We ranked 107th in the country. For comparison, TT ranked 243rd, and aTm 316th.

But I do agree we'll probably see more fast break opportunities this year. Assuming we can defend and rebound well enough.
