I knew Buddy and Coach Crutch had a special relationship. I just didn't know how it started. Clearly the bond they formed when Buddy was 13 years old is the reason this year's conference POY is a Sooner. Coach Crutch saw the potential way back then and continued to follow his progress to Sunrise Christian.

What a great story! I'm proud to say the player and the coach are Sooners!
