Nanyang and Odomes are being held out today. Manyang has a leg wrap on but looks and is moving fine. Odomes is waking around with a limp.

Buford has a great looking shot. And is very much a 3/4. (Will play almost all the time at the 4 for us)

Buddy hasn't missed a shot in warm ups or sets against defense.

Buford's got a lightning release. 3/3 on threes in game work.

Everyone looks a little sloppy.

Odomes has a wrap on his ankle.

Walker looks quicker and more confident with his handles.

Also of note it is clear that cousins is still the back up at PG

James with a really pretty spin move underneath for a layup.

Walker is the star of the scrimmage so far. Hitting 3s, taking it to the hole and finishing, getting fouled. 2nd team playing starters to a standstill.

Bolden and young sitting next to eachother court side. Bolden with an OU sweatshirt on.

Bolden is a big dude. Young and bolden seem to be hitting it off.

I'm probably in the minority here, and I'm certainly no scout, but I have zero aspirations of Manyang contributing meaningful minutes.

I'll be very pleased to be wrong. Just a hunch I have.

Buddy has been quiet ... Both in voice and in game.

I will amend that and say that buddy plqyed poorly today.

Orlando Allen part 2?

He stood on the sidelines today to keep from reinjuring his foot. Not sure there's any information to go on yet.

If we land Bolden, then it won't matter. Buford and Lattin are going to be good and this year we have Spangler.

I respectfully disagree. When I watched him play early in the summer I was impressed. He will be a defensive presence and is more athletic than a lot of 7 footers I've seen. I'm guessing he will play 15-20 minutes per game.

When is he going to be ready? And how long is Odomes out?

What makes you say that?
1. I take most all JUCO accolades with a big grain of salt (Chris Walker Rule).

2. The foot injury.

3. The unexplained leave of absence from his JUCO team toward the end of last season.

These things are all alarms with me. I've just never considered him any sort of cog toward the potential success of our 2016 season.

I agree, I consider any meaningful contribution we get from him to be icing on the cake.
