I haven't listened to the most recent episode. But I get the feeling that podcast is going to be pretty sunshiny. And if that is the case, I probably won't be a subscriber long

Yeah I have been a bit disappointed that he is very reluctant to be critical, and even when he is, he qualifies it by saying things like "Moser has forgotten more basketball than I'll ever know." I think he has been way too slow to acknowledge that some of the reserves just aren't that good. And we are now past the halfway point of the regular season, so to continue to talk about potential and room for growth is a little silly. I mean, we all know that Moser's teams get worse, not better, as the season progresses.

Sigh. I will be watching with the same old small ray of hope I always have. OU basketball is my method of keeping myself very humble.

That is a perfect way to describe it! "Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in." (Although I am too stupid and stubborn to ever actually think I am out. Between OU basketball and football, the Mets, Raiders, and Flyers, I am at 125 consecutive seasons or thereabouts without a title by "my" teams.)

You're right, each season there will be a game or two to keep hope flickering. Nothing this week would surprise me, other than maybe two wins. I could see us lose both and look awful, win tonight then fail to follow it up Saturday, or lose tonight and pull a shocker Saturday after the shovels are already tossing dirt on the grave.

Moser is as annoying as Bruce Webber on the sideline. I’ve never seen anyone who is so frantic yet so incapable of actually helping his team. I can’t imagine being a player on the bench as he kicks and stomps and vents to his assistants every possession.

We are getting beat on high screens and they are taking advantage. Have to pinch that harder and not let them drive. Difficult with their bigs though. Can take a chat to go under screens and hope they shoot 3 poorly which they sometimes do.

I have Houston on my other tv and it’s like two different sports. They constantly dive for loose balls, recover out of double teams like their lives depends on it, and absolutely swarm the opponent. No coincidence they have only allowed 5 points in 15 minutes.
