I picked my pro teams when I was itty-bitty: Padres, Vikings, Supersonics and Whalers. The latter two won't be of much help any time soon either. I don't know how old you are, but you had a pretty good run from the Broad Street Bullies through the 86 Mets assuming you weren't still on Mother's TEET! If I ever suffer through a pro loss as devastating as the 98 NFC CG I may just walk into the traffic.

Then as an adult, saw them lose to their crosstown rival, and 15 years later to the team 200 miles down the road.

I am a Royals fan and live in Overland Park. I was in Vegas with some other Royals fans in Game 1 vs Mets. We were in a sports book and some Mets fans decided to razz us around the start of the 9th inning. They quietly departed not long after that.

As for Toby, I know he can’t be negative like fans, but there is a fine line between being a company man and insulting our intelligence.

As for tonight and our inept coach: UF has arguably the best frontcourt in the country. Loser spent months saying this would be his best shooting team. So what have we done tonight, as a clear strategy? We took four threes the entire half while repeatedly attempting soft drives and getting our crap thrown back in our faces.

The players have quit, and as unforgivable as that is, I can see why they would be deflated playing for a guy who is so clearly clueless and overmatched. It’s almost impossible for anyone to be worse at their job than MMM is at his. He is like the bizarro world version of Ohtani.
