GAME 17 - OKLAHOMA (11-5) vs #19 FLORIDA (11-5) 8:00pm CST on ESPN2

So hes b!tching?
Wasn’t as bithcy as usual but just couldn’t help himself from tossing that in. He mainly talked about how “elite” Florida is and acted as if there is no possible way to stop their bigs. I guess I was wrong in thinking he gets paid to figure out that exact kind of thing!

I think we can all agree it’s the beginning of the end of the Moser era. If he wasn’t a millionaire I’d feel bad for him. I do think he wanted to succeed at OU.

Where do you guys think he’ll end up at next year?

Loyola.

Of course he wanted to succeed, but part of being successful is being open-minded as opposed to stubborn and ego-driven. Take a look at the GM version of Jerry Jones for the Dallas Cowboys. He could have gone down as one of the greatest owners of all time regarding on-the-field success. But his ego got the best of him and drove Jimmy Johnson out. Dallas is the only NFC team (out of 16) who has not been to the NFC Championship game this century. When looking at Moser, I'm sure he has had some good assistant coaches...but when they leave for comparable positions elsewhere it's a bad reflection on him. The "my way or the highway" approach only works for the truly elite minds. And if Moser thinks he's that, then I'll quote Dirty Harry Callahan from "The Enforcer" movie - "You're a legend in your own mind".

Just finished watching the game this morning...almost didn't as I got to half. Man, what an embarrassing game. I know Florida is good, but not, "What the hell is our offensive identity every single game" good.

After that game, it was our 2nd worst rated offensive efficiency game and worst defensive performance by far:

Mirrors the Arizona St game, except instead of the 3ball it was the 2ball that was our downfall.

I just didn't understand us attacking their sunken defense. I mean, wtf. To beat them you have to out-shoot them and with bigs playing low like they were, we should have just gone full on Butler and shot 3s for days, even if we miss...who cares, we still lost by 30 in my head, bc Florida let their foot off the gas in the 2nd half. 17 point win DOES NOT SHOW that with the game.

Anywho, I am pissed, yay coffee and work. Ugh.

game plan was terrible ..

The fact that Dayton, as rusty or bad as he's been playing, was our 2nd leading minutes guy off the bench...astounding. And Kirill only out-played him in minutes because Moser had no other choice to; he was the best player on the team last night.

I pray I am wrong - but this team looks like they have quit, especially on defense and rebounding. Get down big and then everybody out to get 'mine' on offense. Sure, we can score. But we gave up 105 to Nebraska, 86 to ASU (LOLOLOL), 83 to A&M who couldn't get to that number last night in 2OT and now 96 to Florida.

Is it possible to be on a 7 game losing streak before Texas at home to end the month?!

it's pretty sad when you shoot 63% from 3pr, and STILL get beat by about 20! That just reveals a lot of holes, from the staff down to the players. I agree that it looks like the team has already quit. That's sad, this early in the conference season but again, says a lot about PM and his inability to get his kids to buy into what he's trying to sell them.
