Not even close to true as they pointed out on the broadcast. He was way too far off his man. That’s why they completed a pass you rarely see completed. Him being in the middle of the lane accomplishes nothing. He is in no-man’s land and left his own man tons of space.

I honestly can’t remember at this point. I think mainly he was considered a guy with a good offensive “system.” We all know now that his system is just playing glacially slow. Whatever system he has doesn’t work against real D-1 athletes.
