Thank you. I guess I vaguely remember him being checked out during one of the 500 reviews, but like Steve said in the game thread -- why the hell was he still playing with a couple minutes to go, especially if he had tweaked something?

He was limping after he was fouled and the double technical. TV broadcast never went back and showed the actual contact for foul.

Conspiracy theorists in me says it was a very bad foul, but since double tech fouled him out they did not have to give a flagrant foul. Reality is no, but why tv never replayed it was confusing.

Maybe Soares and Fears can start a support group for players who were injured or reinjured at the end of blowout losses.

Auburn had majority of starters in game till after last media timeout. Then started taking out. Coaches just don’t pull players as much due to the analytics factor.

Sure but if Fears goes out for any length of time then the metrics don’t matter. This is extra stupid if he was already injured.

My point was it’s common for all coaches not to pull players. it’s just not a mosier thing.

I seem to remember some of the people bitching about Fears being in the game late, bitching about Fears not being in the game early in the season, saying he needs every minute he can get? I guess Porter is dumb no matter what he does.
