GAME 23 - OKLAHOMA (16-6) vs #4 TENNESSEE (19-5) 11:00am CST on ESPN

I didn't expect to win because Tennessee is a lot better than we are, but the decision making, effort, and overall lackadaisical-ness continues to be troubling. This is not a random occurrence, but rather more of the norm during conference play over the last several seasons. It is simply bad basketball.

Eh, we are already a bad defensive team. Sending people to the offensive glass is just going to make our defense worse.
Nah. We get back. We need margins for error. 2nd chance trash pts. Dudes don't give effort, pm doesn't demand it.

PM need to have as practice sessions to have guards driving to the basket and bigs jumped and swat the ball away. Our bigs are afraid of jumping and protect the paint (scare of fouling). You can time and swat the ball without fouling. That's why I love Chet Holmgren, he blocks and swat the ball and protect the paint.

Only one of our bigs has the vertical capable of doing that.

If OU's upper admin is willing to put up with this crap, where does it end? Is this just a collective effort to sit on hands and not do anything? How can such a once proud program endure this embarrassment? I don't think this would happen anywhere else. Bizarro world. Is OU that poor? It's like nobody anywhere at OU wants to do anything. So bizarre...
