He’s not an NBA type of player. He along with Thompson at OSU are two of the weaker former McD’s AA to come out of Oklahoma in quite some time. Garrison will likely get recruited over and may never start there. Hard to “develop” when you’re on the bench.

We would be better with him on the team, but not sure how much more.

Off subject, but whatever happened to OU and Trent Pierce. I remember him being a Tulsa guy and being mentioned as an OU recruit at one point. Just looked at the Missouri game and he is starting at Mizzou and is 6-10. Anybody know what happened there? Besides we just flat lost out on a Tulsa guy to Missouri? I had forgotten about him.

I played golf this morning so didn’t watch the game live. Just finished watching.

My thoughts: We are so poorly coached it’s amazing that we win any games. We can’t even inbound the ball. We play terrible defense. We have no identity on offense. The only time we ever score points consistently is when the other team forgets to cover Goodine and he makes threes. We don’t hustle. We don’t play smart. We aren’t organized. Moser still hasn’t figured out who to put on the court and his rotations don’t make any sense. This is just sad and I can’t wait until we get a new coach.

If memory serves me right, we had one spot for that position and it went to Jacolb Cole, since he committed first. They were both ranked about the same coming out of HS, Cole may have been slightly higher in some recruiting services, but it was about a wash. I got to see Pierce play several times we he played at Tulsa Union and wanted him because he was a local kid, then he transferred to Compass out in Arizona, while Cole transferred to Link in Branson.

So far, Pierce has been more productive, and obviously plays a lot more. He’s lanky and has quite a wingspan. I still like him as a player.

Six combined pts from our two transfer guards who people preferred to Los and Owen five weeks ago.

To be honest, I think some where sold a bill of goods from some of the transfer experts. Not talking Oklahoma media, but several national were hyping up players. I never once thought Los and Oweh would be replaced by better, but was hoping for more consistent compared to last year. I think it obvious what changed.
