Good lord, Fitzgerald

He doesn't box out well and doesn't get off the ground quickly. Also wonder if him still not being in excellent shape has an effect in that he spends too much energy on the offensive end and doesn't exert near as much energy on the glass. He really changed his body from last year, here is hoping that another offseason helps him even more and we see even better results on the basketball court.

To compound his lack of jumping ability he's also been blessed with one pitiful set of skillets.

But he can create some matchup issues with that little jumper. And if you can average 12 and 4 in D-1 ball I'm not going to call you a bad player. He's got his attributes.

It's almost like he's a role player forced into a lead role or something...

Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up averaging around 17-18 ppg his senior year. With possibly 5.5 rebounds. Needs a rebounder with him on the front line though because overly athletic teams like Texas will continue to kill OU on the glass.

You could have somebody and literally magnetize his feet to the ground, and he could get more rebounds than Fitz.

It's not JUST that he can't jump.
He never has good position and doesn't know how to use his body.
