Hand's sisters

not that I have read anywhere. Doesn't mean they aren't, though.

I've always gotten the impression they MAY not be as good as Whitney.

How old are her sisters? I tried to find out, but all I could see (from SoonerSports.com) is that she has four sisters: Jessica, Jordyn, Hannah and Rebekah.

Hannah and Rebekah are the "twinkies", I believe they are freshmen in high school, both pretty good players, but don't think they have reached the level of big sis Whit yet.

Changing the subject a bit but thought it interesting that some of the team is going to watch Chandler Coale play a high school game.

Yes they are........Rebekah is averaging 17 points per game in the the largest private school league in Texas> Liberty Christian starts four freshmen and is 7-2 in district and playing Bishop Lynch and Plano's John Paul for 1st place in the league. Both have a 7-1 and 7-2 record.

Hannah has only played 4 games and is recovering from a broken bone in her foot.
They have received numerous letters from D-1 Programs. Including Oklahoma

Thanks for the update, I see them at most of the weekend games, good to know they are doing well.

Thanks for the report! Best of luck to Rebekah and Hannah!

Nice info. Glad to know it. Interesting to see where they end up.

I sure hope it's here. Stars or role players we could use a couple of helping Hands. If they have anything like the personality and pure class of their older sisters, they would be loved here.

A lot of times the younger siblings are pushed more early on and develop into better players... perhaps we will see a Baylor-killing Hand sister or two? pleasepleasepleaseiwannabeatbayloragain

It's a shame there isn't a brother in the family. The men's team could use some of that Hand grit and hustle.

Actually, there is. I included only the part of the SoonerSports capsule on Whitney that dealt with sisters, but here it is in the entirety:

PERSONAL: Daughter of Rich and Susan Hand ... Father is a former major league pitcher who played in the Indians, Rangers and Angels organizations ... Has five siblings -- brother Cody and sisters Jessica, Jordyn, Hannah and Rebekah ... Married OU quarterback Landry Jones in June 2012.

Now, how old is Cody? I don't know...

It was so long ago.........I can't remember either lol.

Cody was my first born in the winter of my baseball career. In 1974

Last time I counted, before the memory lapses, that makes me.......oh, let's see...........104??

A 38 year old son and 15 year old daughters? That is impressive.
