Meh, got beat by 24 by Pitt and lost by 10 to Louisville. Gonzaga is their only decent win and zags aren’t anything special this year so far. Lots of quad 4 wins in there, too.

Won in Lawrence today without his son and another of their three leading scorers. And his son won’t be close to a first or second team All American.

Don’t worry, if Moser wins a road game against a top ten team this season without Fears and Miles, I’ll be sure to give him credit.
 
Drake just lost to UIC in Chicago. Only 3 undefeated teams left in college basketball all in the SEC.
 
9-4 with losses to Northwestern, East Carolina, James Madison, and Northern Iowa

Cannot really use that argument in this case. That was a conference game. UIC is currently 171 in Kenpom. From quick search every sec team is higher then that.

You can debate our non con, you can debate how tested we are, but you cannot compare Drake loosing to a conference opponent to our non conference schedule as every one of our conference opponents are ranked higher.

He snarkingly asked if they are any good. Whether they are any good has nothing to do whether it’s a conference opponent or not.

yes we would. No those are not great/ may not even good teams. But both are higher rated in Kenpom then uic plus they are power 4 teams. Playing power 4 teams means more to the selection committee then mid level lower conference teams.

I am responding directly to your question. I know our non conference schedule was overall average.
 
And to think I had so much faith in the Festivus holiday miracle and it's a total failure on January 2nd....................

Where in the committee criterion does "power four team" come into play? Hint: it doesn't, because it isn't a factor. Drake's loss at UIC was a bad loss. OU losing at home to Georgia Tech would have been a bad loss.
