Unfortunately, the number of underclassmen who enter the draft every year far outweighs the the number of draft positions. That means every year guys are getting bad advice. I think this has only impacted one OU player in the past, TMG...after June, it will be two. TMG did not have his head screwed on right...Harmon really could have used those two years to put himself into a position to be drafted.
If Buddy Hield left OU after his sophomore year, he would not have been drafted. If he left after his junior year, he would have been a 2nd round pick. Either way, I doubt he would have an $80-90 million contract right now. I wish more young men were smart enough to follow his lead.
