Ref had is mind made up before he read the defender. It was a terrific block.

Booker has really come on and will be a big piece to our team the next 3 years. He's proven to be a high level 3 pt shooter, makes some nice steals, has a high basketball IQ and is sneaky athletic. I'm higher on him than Hornbeak at this point.

Not so sure about him being better than Hornbeak. Hornbeak has been one of the main reasons for the Sooners improved play lately. Playing better than Woodard now.

I really like Booker. If he can broaden his offensive game he could be an all-star. I think he has a very good overall game for a freshman. He will be better than Pledger. Lon knows his players. No one else was really after Booker and Cousins.

We are now a 9 deep team which is what Kruger seems to like. I thought Bennett and Neal handled the Texas bigs better than Spangler and Clark.

I agree with. It looks like Hornbeak is finally near full strength from his injury and/or has his confidence back. I would say he's the best perimeter defender on the team and is a huge reason why our defense has taken a positive leap lately.

Cousins is our best perimeter defender when he cares to play defense. Hornbeak is our most consistent perimeter defender.

Man, Frank Booker has some major hops. I knew his 3 point shooting was his forte, but this kid is a tremendous athlete with loads of potential. I've noticed his defense just keeps getting better and better too. Very happy we've got this guy.

The coaches were really riding him in the pre-season about execution in team defense and team offense. His shot selection has improved tremendously, as has his footwork and rotation defensively.
