I did not recall that dunk against OSU. To me the defining moment for Blake Griffin was against Texas A&M his freshman season. Basically the same type play. He posted up couldn't back his man down so he took it outside and destroyed the defender with a first step, single dribble massive dunk. Blake did this many times but that is the first time I recall him doing it in conference play to that degree.

It is more than just his build. The guy also has an amazing vertical and amazing quickness. Certainly there are other professional athletes that are amazing like him but he is truly one of those guys that is amazing when compared to other professional athletes.
To me it is that combination with his personality that makes him so special. Has he made any major mistakes? I don't follow him closely but I don't recall any issues like arrests, public confrontations, etc.
About the only thing he has done was smack Justin Bieber at Starbucks as revealed in the Arkansas parody paper. Unfortunately for society that was satire.

I doubt if you could find any player in the NBA with a better work ethic than Blake. I think it started with the summer he and Taylor spent with a trainer in California (can't remember his name). He said it was like a boot camp that included grueling daily workouts, like running up sand dunes to get in shape. When his sophomore season started that fall, he was unstoppable.
Judging by everything I have read and heard, Blake continues to work harder than anyone else. Doc Rivers say no one on the team works harder than him. Obviously BG's dedication and hard work have paid huge dividends.
