How excited are the Pokes fans for this game?

Is the GIA going to be rocking?

As based on some Cowpoke message board (gopokes and orangepower) lurking this mourning it seems this game to have taken a backseat to college football recruiting. I'm sure this post will be ironic (is that the right usage?) after the game when GIA is rowdy and the Pokes beat the "Gooners" by 20 or so but still it seems weird the lack of buzz for this game.

Both teams are down this year, I think that is why there isn't a buzz about either school.

It's a rivalry game in one of the two college sports that actually matters. If you can't get excited for it, get out of town...but then again it would be just like OSUx fans to be more excited about college football recruiting (which largely finished 3 days ago, lol) than an actual live sporting event.

OSU will never admit it, but they are a football school. Difference is they're just not any good at it. When the basketball team struggles, their interest wanes and attendance drops, same as us. At heart, the success that they have in other sports gives them something to get them through the day, but in the end they all go to bed dreaming about beating OU in Football.

Well, your Historic arena is less than half full for a Bedlam game Poke, so I'm just basing my opinion on quantitative data.
