Killed Samford, Bucknell and beat Fresno by 8 - scoring over 83 in every game.

Looks like they will want to run some, so style-wise these time might be alike. The Hogs look like backcourt scoring is their bread and butter, so this could be an entertaining up and down game.

Can't wait!

well, we are scoring 108 a game:woot

Isn't anderson still their coach? saw him here in KC at a HS coach's clinic back when he was at mu..saw sampson as well...we were at a Catholic HS and Anderson said gd about every 10 seconds...could barely understand what he was saying...lol.

Should be a good one. Step daughter is a piggie, one dog has a arky collar other an OU collar...

BOOMER!

That's what I love about these preseason holiday tournaments. If there's good competition it kind of lets you know where you are.. good or bad. I'm looking forward to finding out about our team.

Their big man freshman Gafford looks really good. Scored 25 I think in their last game

We'll know a lot more after Thursday lol. But we did beat Bucknell by a lot more than UNC did.

The start is really encouraging, I think we should finish top 5 in the SEC but it's too early to say more than that. We did get close to knocking off North Carolina in the tournament last year. We start 3 senior guards led by Jaylen Barford and Daryl Macon, one of the better duos in the country, and then 6'11 4* freshman big man Daniel Gafford has been great so far but he hasn't faced a team the caliber of OU yet.

We're a little shorthanded right now with a 4* freshman guard being held out because of a heart issue and then a backup forward suspended so we need to avoid getting into foul trouble.

Thanks for swinging by. Appreciate the insight, should be a good game

I want to see Arkansas back in the national spotlight. Not at OU's expense of course. But I useta enjoy watching their teams back in the day. They had excellent fans.

should be a tough game for OU.

Senior laden teams are always hard to beat

Excited to see how we will handle the Arkansas press in this game. Young guards can sometimes excel under that pressure...others may wilt and learn a lesson. I think Trae will eat it up, but it will be a good test.

They were in the tournament last year because of their guards who are back this year. You know they will defend the ball. It will be a tough game.

While probably good, the hogs aren't world beaters. If OU is in fact improved this is the kind of game they need to show it.

I agree, could be a close game, if so I want to see if OU can finish.

Looks like OU is currently at -1. Kind of surprises me. This would be a good win if we can pull it off.

Zona #2 lost to NC State....so anything is possible.

If our guys believe and play who knows...

Lots of hog fans marking this one as a win already for them. Heard everything like if we bring the hogs A game we win by 25+ if our B game we win by 10-15 even if it was in Norman.

they were darn good. macon and barford are both good shooters and gafford is talented. I was impressed
