Lunardi gets the easy part right. He gets most of the teams right. He is NOT good at the seeding. He's influenced by his ESPN colleagues, I'd have to imagine. Maybe influenced by the ESPN dollars and the big ACC contract. Who knows?
If OU gets a one seed, the potential matchups with the 4 seed in the Sweet 16 are all interesting. Some teams in that "range" are Duke, UK, Maryland, and Zona.
UNC's resume is not even in the same stratosphere as OU's.
They're just not comparable. And even if we lose tonight and UNC wins the ACC tournament, we STILL have a significantly stronger resume. 10-5 against top 50 teams versus 3-5. It's a joke that it's even a discussion really.
we should be in the discussion already if you really look at the resumes... however, where we are ranked.. we are not. need some help and a win over WVU
Where we are ranked has nothing to do with it. It's going to come down to SOS and this Tournament. Our resume speaks for itself. Depends on what other teams do and our performance. I don't see them giving Kansas an OU both 1seeds. JMO.

Why not? Good conferences get two #1 seeds all the time (like OU and Texas did in 2003), and the Big 12 is the best this year. Add that to the Villanova game and you've got a pretty solid case.
