During the game he said "he's definitely a starter"... meaning his ability. Then said something to the effect of "a lot of times it takes junior college transfers half their junior year to turn it on, and Alondes will likely have a very big senior year".

I could see him averaging 13-14 a game next year... and that is VERY good.

I was more disappointed with him than anybody. I thought he could average 12, 5, & 5. He’s starting to look like that, his quick vision is great.

He's the infusion which this team has needed.

This team needs the starting guards to play better. Imagine if Harmon/Bieniemy/Reaves were consistently getting 30/game. Then Williams comes off the bench for 10 more. Whole different team.

Reaves better average 20 because we’re lucky if Bieniemy and Harmon can average 10 points between them..... although they’re both better defenders than Williams.

I am not worried about Harmon or Reaves next year at all. Reaves will produce and I think Harmon will be much better.

You should be worried about Harmon. He'll be a sophomore. And sophomores have been a big disappointment under Lon for the past several years.
Add Vic and Hill to the list to be worried about.

umm manek was very very good last year as a soph

Hmmm I guess you could say Doolittle was a disappointment when he had to sit out the first semester of his soph year..... and never got in the groove the second semester. You could count Bieniemy this year although he handles the ball well and plays good defense... but doesn’t add much offensively. I can’t really think of anyone else that could be labeled a disappointment.

Lattin? McNeace? Maybe Odomes, he never really got better either. Those are just 3 off the top of my head.

lattin was far better as a soph then as a freshman

Far better at what? He averaged 4 more points and 2 more rebounds as a full-time starter.

Forgot to add, those numbers are with his minutes going from 12 to 22 per game.

20/20 should’ve redshirted!!

Not redshirting Doolittle was the biggest mistake since not redshirting Longar Longar.

Fran made an interesting comment about redshirts... Baylor has some ridiculous amount of players who redshirts. He said its a trend around the country for player development.

Of course, OU has a few prospects redshirting this year and Kur clearly benefited from redshirting as well.

James/Odomes/Mcgusty/Bieniemy/Doolittle

Starter on a Final 4 team.
