nothing against Creighton - but it would be good for our conference's integrity if this were to happen.

slap'em around for a 30 point win. that would be perfect

Screw Baylor. I hope they lose. This talk of conference pride is stupid. It doesn't make OU better for Baylor to win. It doesn't make it easier for OU to recruit in tx if Baylor wins. I hope Baylor never wins another game. Ever.

I pay little to no attention to anything you have to say because you're a one-way check valve and one of the worst fans around here. It's always "the refs" or "the govt" or "the powers that be". idiotic.

Is there a way to block people so I don't have to be exposed to their ignorance?

I know we love to bag on Scott Drew, but he's about to go to another sweet 16, and honestly I like their matchup against Wisconsin to make it to a third elite 8.

you may be right - but I am actually very worried about Wisconsin. I ALWAYS underestimate them and likely did so again this year.

He gets his teams to play their best ball in March, something only a handful of coaches in America can do on a consistent basis. Even last year they were NIT champs.

We can always keep making fun of Ford though.

Yes you can put them on ignore. Ask Sybarite how to do it because he has everyone on ignore. Lol!

Regarding ignore, I have never placed anyone on ignore on a message board. Seems like nonsense to me. Why not just leave the message board if you can't deal with others opinion? Maybe message boards are not for you so maybe it's time to pickup some other hobby like mowing the lawn or fixing your car?

Having said that, if ever there were someone I would place on ignore it would be you (mict085). Your display of idiocy in the NDSU game thread trumps anything I've seen before.

FYI.

I don't buy this. They won the NIT because they underachieved during the regular season. They have more talent than every team except KU.

The regular season may not mean anything to you and others who like Drew, but it means something to me.

I think the regular season means something too. I remember 5 years ago or so when a few people on this board suggested that Drew just stay in the zone, be as active in it as his players athleticism permits, recruit to it and worry more about offense. Looks like what he's done to me. But I think it has screwed him over for the regular season.

However, if Boeheim can do it then why not him?

Yep, I don't believe for one minute that Drew has some magic formula to get his team playing well this time of year. Pure luck, most likely. But they hurt themselves. If they'd ever play a full season like this, they'd get better seeds, and better locations, and might be able to take that next step.

btw coolm, could you "hope" that Kate Upton shows up on my doorstep later tonight, since your hope for this thread some how came true?

Thanks.

It looks like you're getting your wish. The Iowa State game was one of the best games of the tournament when it looked like they were done.

It looks like you're getting your wish, Coolm...though I don't give a crap about Baylor one way or the other...I did root for Iowa State. They and KSU were the only conference teams I rooted for besides OU of course.

As I already stated in the Scott Drew thread, I have some crow to eat for ragging on him so much. However, B-O-B makes a great point in that there is no reason his teams should be under-achieving so badly for the majority of the season year in and year out. That is clearly not a #7 seed in regards to talent level...but the guy knows how to win in March.

meh ... sometimes I am psychic. But never when it would be useful. I am like the trivial psychic. I can foresee things no one cares about.

So as Baylor goes to its 3rd SS in 5 years we continue to see words like luck and underacheiving tossed about here.

6th place in the big 12 is underachieving. They tied with OSU who lost 3 games due to Smart being suspended. That's horrible.

I'd much rather be playing next weekend then polishing my upper half of the Big 12 medal.

I guess it depends how you look at it. They were almost relegated to the NIT and probably would have if not for beating OU and Texas in KC. It's worked out for him this year but last year it didn't.

Considering his roster his team should have been 2nd or 3rd. We don't have a roster anything close to his and her we swept them in the regular season and finished 4 spots ahead of them.

I call that underachieving.
