Probably not a popular opinion but I can't stand Jimmer. Him and Tim Tebow, there is something about those two that annoys the bejesus out of me!

Probably the hype...
But as much as Tebow lived up to his, Jimmer is doing the same...
I didnt like Tebow all that much, but respect him and his work ethic...
I do like Jimmer a lot, probably because i am a basketball player...i see what he does on the court and am just wow'ed at his consistency and confidence...

I didn't like Tebow either, but the guy delivered more often than not...can't be denied. Jimmer has his team in the Sweet Sixteen even though they have effectively lost their inside presence. Was at the Mountain West Championship in Vegas, and after seeing him play live it's amazing his legs aren't completely gone. Guy is basically carrying his team...every open look anyone else gets is b/c their opponent is keying on him.

All the Tebow hate is just jealousy... The guy was awesome at Florida, won some national championships, and was fun to watch. He was great for Florida obviously, and the college game. He was a true star.
All the haters said he had no chance to play in the NFL, and now he is the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos.
What is it with people hating white guys who get hype?

i can guarentee you that it isn't jealousy. its how he carries himself and the lack ofhumilty really.
Everybody knows he was a great player.
And he is starting in Denver for lack of other options.

Jimmer has some Pete Marovich in him.
I wonder how he was ranked coming out of high school. Never heard of him before this year.
There is so much talent out there. A good coach finds the Jimmers and builds strong teams around them. That is why a basketball team can turn around so quickly.

tebow isnt starting.. and he throw some good screen passes lol... and had one good nfl run for a TD thats it..

He wasn't ranked high, but schools in the Northeast knew about him. He was a fringe Big East type player, someone would of taken a chance on him in the late signing period.
However, he started going to the BYU camps after his freshman year in high school, so it was apparent that was his calling. Even one of his AAU teammates (who plays at Syracuse, I think) mentioned it was well known amongst their circle that Jimmer wanted to be a Cougar.

I really like the jimmer because of how he acts (or doesn't act). Now, he DOES get excited some...but even when he does it's not all about "in your face" or "look at MEEEE everyone look at MEEEEEE". Instead it's the "wooooohooooo" variety.
He doesn't prance around like some dime store fairy nor does he try to put on a dribbling display out of thin air just to be a dork.
He plays good ball and seems to have a good attitude.
Tebow? I still have some bones to pick with that guy.
