I just won tickets to company suite for Big 12 championship!

I was just notified today I won 2 tickets for the company suite for the Thursday morning session which includes the 4/5 game and 1 vs 8/9 winner.

We need to finish in the 4 seed so I can watch us play...LOL! However, if other winners are KU or KSU fans, I may be able to trade so they can watch their teams and I can watch OU.

I'm stoked!

Isn't that a delima. Now you have to decide between pulling for OU to get the 3 seed or hoping they land in the four or five seed. Perhaps OU will win all of their games and still get the 4 seed. That would be the ideal scenario for you.

I will pull for OU to win all the games and if they get to play in the session I have, then that would be ideal. However, since KU will likely be in the 1 vs 8/9 game, I'm sure I can get someone who has the other session to trade me. I work with a lot of KU fans...

I am sorry to hear that. I work with a lot of Texas fans. I wonder which is worse? I bet KU fans are worse. Bob Stoops keeps these Longhorns fairly well in check.

Speaking of KU fans, do you guys remember Chenohawk. Many of you would defend that worthless troll. Notice that once OU was not threatening his precious Jayhawks he didn't need to police our boards. The guy was a lying POS. Just remember that when we have returned because the worthless KU fans will return too.

I never was a Cheno fan, so don't include me in the group that defended him.

Working with KU fans is a lot like working with Nebraska fans and Texas fans. We have a huge Husker alumni group here in KC so I work with a bunch of them and I used to live in DFW. The 3 fan bases are pretty much the same. IMO, the Husker fans are worse than either KU or Texas because Husker fans are stuck in the mid to late 90's and think they are going to win the NC every year just because they won 3 in a 4 year span. KU fans got a huge dose of reality when they realized a good basketball program meant nothing in realignment. They realize football drives the boat so they don't say much even when they win in basketball. At least the ones that are in my circle, but most of them are educated. Having said that, I know of other people, friends of friends, and the general Jayhawk fan I encounter at big 12 tournaments and events like that who are very unbearable just like the average UT fan. Nebraska fans are still the worst, IMHO.

Avoiding Wed is a huge step forward for OU and a 4 seed would be great, but if they can sneak into the 3rd seed it would be really big. Don't want any part of Iowa St a third time, would rather take our chances with Baylor and then possibly K State in the semis. Obviously that assumes OU can win tonight, which won't be easy, and beat Iowa St at home (as well as take care of business with West Virginia and TCU). Also have to hope Oklahoma St loses one of their last two which is quite possible.

Can't wait to head down for the tournament especially with all this damn snow on the ground. Ready for spring and March Madness!
